Once payment of the membership fee has been received, you are entitled to all the services provided by the SBEA (exception: waiting period for employment law protection insurance). New members who require individual consultation immediately or within three months of registration must take out a three-year membership at a cost of CHF 570 before their requests can be processed.

Anyone who works or has worked as an employee in a bank, financial institution, insurance company or a company that offers its services to the banking, financial or insurance industry can be accepted as a member of the SBEA.

The following annual dues apply to new members:

• Active members: CHF 15.85 per month
• 3-Year Membership: CHF 15.85 per month – Immediate advice with no waiting period
• Apprentices: CHF 2.50 per month (up to age 22 and with a monthly salary of up to CHF 2,000)
• Students: CHF 7.50 per month (upon presentation of a student ID)
• Retirees: CHF 7.50 (for regular retirement; see Article 5, Section 3 of our (Bylaws))

Note: With the 3-year membership, you’ll enjoy all the benefits right away—no waiting period, and support begins as soon as payment is received. The membership fee for the three years is due immediately.

Starting in August, new active members will pay only 50% of the membership fee for the current year.

When terminating your membership, please note Article 6 of our
Articles of Association: “A member may resign by giving 30 days’ written notice to the end of the calendar year”.
